If you are doing core maths, use the Cassio calculator. If it not, use the graphic calculator. But the Cassio calculator would work as long as you aren’t doing much graph work

For GCSE level math, students has to work on basic math like finding fractions, exponents, square roots, trigonometry stuff like sin, cos, tan. In statistics students need to work on mean, median, mode and standard deviation also equation solvers and graphs to be worked out. So a good scientific calculator is a must for GCSE level math. Casio FX-991EX classwiz, Casio FX-83GTX, Sharp EL-W531T models are good suggestions.

Scientific calculators made by Casio are normally good enough. If you can find one that says "natural display" at the top. It will really help in the exam, you can enter the numbers, decimals, equations and fractions exactly as they appear in the exam. FX-95ES. The latest model is the FX-991es plus (good for A-level as well as GCSE).

First of all, I do not suggest to purchase any calculator. The reasons are listed underneath:- 1- If you become habitual of using calculators it will make you mentally handicapped. The brain is such an organ it will develop as much as you use it. When you use calculators, you start doing even the smallest calculations through the calculator, which you could have done orally with ease. That means you stop using your brain and you fully depend on calculators and your brain gets rusted being idle, and ultimately you become mentally handicapped. Do you like that? 2- If there is some exceptionally big calculation you can use the calculator app on your mobile phone or laptop. If you are using the internet that means you have either a mobile phone or a laptop. Both these devices have calculator apps otherwise you can download it yourself. Why do you want to purchase it unnecessarily?

For GSCE you only need a scientific calculator, I’d recommend something like the Casio fx-85GT CW, but one of the older ones would do just fine also (if you’re looking for something cheaper).
