Happy to help with all the boring English stuff

I have several years experience of teaching English in Asia. Also, I'm a qualified Geography teacher.

In Vietnam, I taught IELTS and TOEFL to teenagers and adults which can be challenge for the students, but with guidance can become less daunting. In addition, I taught the books Everybody Up and New English File for students who want to learn less difficult English. Students ranged from 5 or 6 to adults. Vietnamese are playful, so it's important to make lessons fun with my own games and activities.

I also taught English in Seoul, Korea. Back in the days before the tutor websites, but for very similar clients, together with University and adult conversation classes, English academies, even kindergartens. It was a great way to save up and travel!

I started the whole experience in Taiwan with middle school children in the evening and Kindergarten in the mornings. That was fun, but not sure I have the energy for that now.

Back home in the U.K, I worked for a time at a private school where I was inspected and given an ESTYN grade 2, this is the Welsh equivalent of OFSTED. Not too bad as I was unqualified at the time!
