She's professional, kind and knowledgeable in the subject area. I'm much more confident about my Maths and English skills! Highly recommended.

I can children of ages of two years to seventeen years

Advert description
I am currently a PhD student in Education at the University of Bath.
I have worked as an ESL and SEN Teacher for the past 5 years in Japan teaching both online and in-person, since I had concluded a post-graduate program at Naruto University of Education, Japan. I also have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education degree (National Teachers' Institute, Nigeria) and a B.Sc. in Botany (Second Class Upper Honors) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University , Awka, Nigeria.
Prior to that, I had taught for five years at The Centagon International School (TCIS), Abuja and for two years at Rainbow International College, Surulere, Lagos.

As a passionate teacher, my primary goal is to motivate students to achieve excellence and exceed their own personal limits using diverse strategies. I strive to instill a love of learning and to make learning exciting and interesting. I utilize activities according to curriculum requirements, and expand on previous knowledge while encouraging students to explore new and interesting possibilities. I also spur students to construct their own learning in an environment that stimulates and helps them realize their full potential.

Having taught in international multicultural schools, I have had some excellent results with learners with special needs and/or who had had a history/background of poor performance, including particular special needs in Math, English and Sciences. With a lot of experience preparing children for 7+,11+ and 13+, a good number of students who had challenges in core aspects now hit on-levels and above-levels with ease, confidence, and delight.
