As a passionate licensed teacher, my primary goal is to motivate and guide students to achieve excellence and exceed their own personal limits using diverse up-to-date pedagogical strategies.

I am currently a PhD student in Education at the University of Bath, Bath Somerset.
I worked as an ESL and SEN Teacher for the past 5 years in Japan teaching both online and in-person, after concluding a post-graduate educational research program at Naruto University of Education, Japan. I also have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education degree (National Teachers' Institute, Nigeria) and a B.Sc. in Botany (Second Class Upper Honors) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nigeria.
Prior to that, I had taught for five years at The Centagon International School (TCIS), Abuja and for two years at Rainbow International College, Surulere, Lagos.

In addition to striving to instill a love of learning and making learning exciting and interesting, I utilize activities according to curriculum requirements, and expand on previous knowledge while encouraging students to explore new and interesting possibilities. I also spur students to construct their own learning in an environment that stimulates and helps them realize their full potential.

Having taught in international multicultural schools, I have had some excellent results with a wide range of learners who had had a history/background of 'not-so-good' performance in Math, English and Sciences. A good number of my students who had challenges in core aspects now hit on-levels and above-levels with ease, confidence, and delight.
With lots of experience preparing children for 7+,11+ and 13+ exams, I intend to combine my wealth of teaching experience with my ability as a compassionate, enthusiastic, innovative teacher in order to help your child achieve and exceed their goals.
I look forward to the opportunity of meeting with you!

She's professional, kind and knowledgeable in the subject area. I'm much more confident about my Maths and English skills! Highly recommended.
