Although I lack academic tutoring experience. I did spend last summer teaching kids how to row for the first time. Skills I believe will transfer over to academic tutoring. Lessons would have a particular goal. Starting with brushing over the content, understanding the content and finally answering various questions around to content to ensure complete understanding. I felt that for myself and many others that you don’t fully understand something until you can answer any question on it.
