Advert description
I have a Master's in Medical Neuroscience, and I have been working as a clinical researcher. Now, I am a first-year medical student. I've been tutoring since school, helping students in the year below me. This has kept my knowledge fresh, and I've always enjoyed breaking down concepts in a simple way and seeing how others adapt them to their learning. Tutoring has always been rewarding, especially knowing I can make a difference in someone's academic journey. It also provides a meaningful way for me to support myself while doing something I enjoy.
A key feature of my lessons is that I use a tablet as a virtual whiteboard, which allows me to write notes and follow lesson plans seamlessly. This enhances the students' learning experience by allowing them to engage with me more productively. I also focus on using past paper questions in my teaching, structuring lessons around exam specification points with questions so we cover relevant areas and practise exam techniques from the beginning. Additionally, I am always available to support students with homework questions or study techniques whenever needed.
