Firstly, we will cearly outline the goal for the lesson. Then we will briefly check the students baseline understanding of the topic. If the student isn't fully caught up on the content we will go over the notes and understanding first, before we proceed to the questions/quiz aspect of the lesson. I'm a firm believer in the idea that you won't fully remember the content you have learned unless you test yourself from multiple angles. I find that when you answer a wide range of questions and question types i.e True/False, single option multi-choice, multi-option multiple choice, short answer and long asnwer questions. The goal by the end of each lesson would be that the student would be looking for a long anwer question because they would feel confident that they would achieve full marks.
