I want to teach guitar because I know how important the guitar has been for me throughout my life, the invaluable role it can play in developing one's sense of emotion, competence and self confidence.

Though I may not have studied teaching at a college/university, I learnt over my 17 years of playing the pitfalls one can fall into: not just in technique, but also in mentality. I have read widely on the psychology of music in my search for bettering my own approach on the instrument. I want to share these lessons and my passion for the guitar with students, with an approach that gives more than a simple textbook formula.

With over 10 years of experience as a guitar teacher, I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages and skill levels. I have a strong understanding of music theory, but my expertise lies in bringing enthusiasm and passion to a wide range of musical genres. This allows me to tailor my lessons to meet the unique needs and interests of each individual student.

In addition to my extensive teaching experience, I am also proficient in using online teaching platforms such as Zoom and Skype. I have developed a range of teaching materials, including instructional videos, sheet music, and exercises, which I can easily share with my students.
