I'll start by understanding the areas the student mainly struggles with and focus on those first. I will build their knowledge up around a case study, in context of a real example, therefore it is easier to understand and put into reality, rather than hitting them with a bunch of theories which quickly become forgetful and complicated. By using facts and bullet points, creating a more concise explanation of each topic, in order to make it easier for the student to recall. Once building up their knowledge, I will ask them to create a presentation using the knowledge they have acquired, in order to present the topic to me - in a "teaching format" whereby they are teaching me the content which I find the most efficient way of learning and recalling, as well as it then being easier to work out what areas need further attention and understanding.
