Firstly, we will go through your topics and understand your strengths and weaknesses. We will start with your weaker topics and build your knowledge up around a specific case study/example, making it easier to understand the content by putting it into a real world example, rather than a load of theories and information which is easily forgotten and becomes very complicated. By using bullet points to understand the content in concise manner, making it more clear. I will then ask the student to make a presentation regarding the knowledge they have learnt, and create a powerpoint to present to myself explaining the topic, using real world examples which we will cover, and some evaluation. From this, "teaching" method, enabling you to recall knowledge by "teaching/explaining" the content to someone else, we will be able to further identify your strengths and weaknesses within the topic, and what we need to go back and delve deeper in, and what you are very capable in understanding. I will also go through past papers with you, marking and giving advise that is more in depth than a given mark scheme. I am very flexible and if you prefer another way of teaching I am able to adapt to the student's needs.
