Geography tutor for all key stages 3, 4, and 5

I was very happy to have Tom as my tutor. He is friendly, patient, and really helped me understand parts of the curriculum I was struggling with by making complicated concepts a lot easier to get. The lessons were always fun and engaging and his sense of humour made the learning a lot better for me than it was at school and I looked forward to them. His teaching and resources gave me the confidence I needed to go into my exams and do well. Thanks Tom!

Tom was a really great tutor. He had such enthusiasm for the geography sessions we did together, as well as being very knowledgeable. He quickly put me at ease and he was very patient when I was finding things a bit difficult. He helped me a lot with my writing skills, showing me how to present what I had learnt in the best way. It was clear he had put a lot of thought and effort into his materials. His PowerPoint slides were really helpful and kept my interest. Having the sessions with Tom really helped improve my confidence in the subject and my grades. I would definitely recommend him.

Not only is Tom incredibly knowledgeable in a variety of subjects like maths, geography and english he’s also very friendly. He has a unique ability to break down complex concepts into simple, understandable terms. Tom also has a plethora of teaching methods e.g. through music, art and mind games etc. They tailored each lesson to my specific needs, ensuring that I was always learning at my best capacity. Tom is patient and dedicated, always taking the time to ensure I fully understood the material before moving on. He also provided additional resources and practice problems, which greatly helped me improve my understanding and confidence. He would go out of his way to make certain subjects or projects that, for me, seemed dull into something much more interesting.
