Delivering personalised online private tutoring sessions for students taking History A-Level or GCSE, I have a history of tutoring success and experience. I work closely with students in order to understand their individual strengths and weaknesses and create a targetted action plan. This tends to focus particularly on exam technique, which tends to be the crucial barrier to students gaining the grades that they deserve, as well as content overview and a deepening of the necessary historical knowledge. Having gained a grade 9 at GCSE for history, A* at A-level (including 100% for coursework), and graduating my first year in the top 5% of my cohort for the history modules I undertook at the University of Cambridge I am confident that I have the necessary historical understanding and skillset to provide excellent lessons to students studying at high school level.
