Experienced in university-level geography courses with additional personal experience and research in the subject

I am currently taking a university-level geography course, and I have received top marks in the subject in the past. Furthermore, I have participated in many extracurricular activities pertaining to geography and environmentalism, demonstrating my passion for the subject outside of school. This combination gives me an in-depth understanding of geography to pass on to my students. In my lessons, students will be evaluated for their current strengths and weaknesses in the subject. After speaking with the student, reviewing their past work, and providing some small exercises, I will develop a personalized learning plan to target the most important gaps in the student's knowledge. Once this learning plan is curated to match the student's learning style and current level, each lesson will include a review of a past lessons, an interactive activity teaching new topics, and a check for understanding. My goal with every student is to help them reach a place where they can confidently participate in their geography lessons and develop a passion for it outside of application to schoolwork.
