Enthusiastic Secondary English Tutor - KS3 - KS5

I am an experienced secondary English teacher hailing from Sydney, Australia with experience in teaching students aged-from a variety of academic and cultural backgrounds. I hold a Bachelor degree in secondary teaching (majoring in English and Society and Culture) from the University of Newcastle, Australia, and have been teaching since 2017.

I am now looking to take on new tutoring students from May through to the beginning of the 2024/2025 school year. I can provide online tutoring but am equally happy to travel or arrange to meet potential students at an agreed upon location. Although I am trained in all aspects of English teaching, I am particularly passionate about classic literature, critical analysis and essay writing, and poetry (Romantics and Modernists).

I hold all relevant mandatory documentation (DBS, safeguarding training, first aid training) and have the right to work in the UK.
