Master the English Language and Grow Your Confidence

Advert description
Mastering the use of the English language opens doors to a far brighter future. I have been tutoring for six years. I work with secondary school students, preparing them for public exams, and with adults, teaching Business English and English as a Foreign Language.
I have also prepared students for A-Level Politics and BTEC Business Studies. I bring both teaching and work experience into my lessons which are conducted both online and in-person ( in the Greater London area).
I have an MA in Medical Ethics and a Diploma in Journalism. In my spare time I write books on both educational and parenting topics. I have a Level 3 certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
My lessons are fun and informative with clear lesson aims and objectives.
I have also developed a REVISION & EXAM TECHNIQUES programme. The results measured over the past 3 years have shown that students have progressed by 2.8 grades at GCSE level and by 2.0 grades at A Level.
In my experience, every student has potential. My job as a tutor is to provide encouragement and support so that confidence can grow, step by step. I work to develop a 'Growth Mindset', where we all learn by making mistakes!
Tutors have got to keep learning themselves. Sharing a mental and emotional space for learning together is of great benefit to every student.

Excellent classes. David is a wonderful teacher and made us feel really relaxed so that we could get the most out of our sessions. I was part of a small group and learnt so much. I even wanted to do the “homework” and looked forward to discussing it with David and the group. He’s highly experienced and I thoroughly recommend!
