I have many years of experience working with pupils of different ages and abilities, across a number of subjects.

My strengths as a tutor are my patience and calm nature. I am understanding of the different needs of individuals, and tailor lessons accordingly. I work well with unengaged or overwhelmed students, and can help to make school work feel more accessible and achievable.

I began working in an SEN secondary school straight after college. After four years, I moved to the SEN department at a mainstream school. During this time, I worked in environmental education in schools in areas of high deprivation, and carried out respite for individuals. I have tutored and supported students in English, Maths, Science, and Music.

I have a certificate in Counselling Skills, and I'm currently studying for a Psychology BSc.
