Biology tutor teaching GCSE and A-level

I am a Neuroscience graduate with First-Class Honours from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. I have been tutoring in Biology for three years. I simplify abstract concepts that can be difficult to grasp in the subject and teach in a way that maximises marks as I have a deep understanding of what the examiner wants from students and how they want knowledge to be expressed. I have studied under colleagues who have personally written exam questions and know the challenges each exam paper presents.

My lessons principally identify areas of difficultly and misunderstanding through my own personalised concise exam sheets to make the most of future lessons. I also spend time understanding how each student learns to suggest certain modes of revision which are tailored to how each student thinks, making their future revision very effective.

I am patient and make my students feel comfortable enough to ask any questions.
