I've enjoyed tutoring Maths for 4 years, as I really like breaking down a concept or topic into its parts so that students can gain a greater understanding and insight.

I structure lessons initially around what the student feels they need to work on, helping to break aspects down into understandable components. In the process, I often find other areas which could be improved on, so I then think about how to help the student work on these areas. This enables a comprehensive understanding and improvement. Having worked on areas of weakness, we can then use that solid foundation to move onto other areas and improve confidence and attainment
