I am a fully trained phonics specialist with up to date training in Read Write Inc Phonics and Jolly Phonics. I am highly skilled in helping children get off to a flying start with their reading using phonics as a basis. I have been the Phonics Lead in all of my most recent teaching posts, leading a large team of teaching staff and have a 100% progress success rate in improving reading for all children.

I have a range of reading materials that can prepare children for the higher expectations of the literacy curriculum. The reading comprehension tuition uses the same proven systematic approach in Phonics, to develop children’s reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, spelling and composition.

My personalised mathematics tuition helps children develop their confidence in number fluency, numeracy and mathematical reasoning.
For example, children may need to expand their knowledge of important concepts, including calculations, times tables, geometry and more.

Mastering these maths concepts will support children in becoming educated citizens and developing key life skills.
