I became a Primary Teacher in 2004 after completing my Bachelors of Education Teaching Degree with Honours.

Following this, I enjoyed a number of years teaching in different schools in Devon and London. Whilst teaching in a highly regarded private school in London, I was made Head of Lower School and Safeguarding Lead. It was during this post that I learnt the importance of preparing children for the 7+ Entrance Exams.

I moved back to my Home County of Devon in 2019 and in 2021, after finishing a Senior Leadership Teaching post in a local primary school, I took a career break to have a family. It was during this time I began tutoring as a way of maintaining my teaching skills and continue my love of learning. I saw children’s confidence soar as they made connections in their learning and realised how important "Creating Confidence in Learning" is for children's development.

Through word of mouth, I quickly became quite busy and it was from there that World Stars Tutoring was established. It has quickly gone from strength to strength!

Through a variety of fun and engaging methods I will personalise learning to develop the core literacy and numeracy skills. If required, I will also introduce your child to exam technique, helping them to understand potentially difficult questions and how to demonstrate their knowledge in key areas.

I have successfully prepared 7 Plus candidates for entry to top schools in London and across the UK, including KCS, Westminster, Highgate, and North London Collegiate to name but a few.

I can provide highly tailored one-to-one tuition online to students based all over the world. In this we can cover all subjects tested at this level or the sections that your child needs more support with (Literacy, Numeracy, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning and interview preparation).
