Oxford-educated counsellor with over 17 years' experience of providing career guidance and managing a recruitment business

As well as being a BACP-qualified counsellor and psychologist (with a first class degree from Oxford University), I have worked in the busy and exciting world of recruitment for over 17 years. I have extensive experience of helping students and graduates (BSc, MSc and PhD) to look at different career options, develop their CVs and prepare for interviews. My methods are always personalised to the individuals I am working with. I am an empathetic listener who enjoys getting to know people, identifying their strengths and helping them to understand and work with their weaknesses. Alongside my availability as a tutor, I run my own business called Purpose Mentoring ( an online service to help people who are struggling to balance pressurised jobs with challenges at home.
