History is made fun and easy to retain with the help of audio-visual visual media. In my classes, you can expect a lot of that. I like to make presentations, share snippets from documentaries and do creative assignments and quizzes in class. My proficiency with the use of MS Office and G suites as well as web board and a host of other teaching tools make my classes interesting.
I love interactive classes, because lecture method is so passè. I love asking my students to lead a class sometimes, as though they were a specialist on the subject at hand. Discussion and brainstorming rather than surprise tests and penalties are more my style.
History is the foundation of many other subjects. And for that reason it needs to be made easily accessible, comprehensible and enjoyable. I strive to do that through my teaching style and methods.
