Study History/Russian/Japanese - Open to students of all levels!

I am a private tutor ready to create personalised lessons for each student. I am happy to talk about your individual needs! I have extensive experience working as a private tutor of History, Russian, and Japanese, and I am always looking for new students.

HISTORY:
As an enthusiastic teacher with a wealth of experience working with students of all ages, I am excited to work with students of all levels who wish to learn more about History. I have several years of professional experience in leading fun, engaging, and exciting classes for students from diverse cultural backgrounds. At the University of Manchester, I worked as a Peer-Assisted Study Co-ordinator for Russian Language Students (-), a Student Ambassador (-) and a Graduate Teaching Assistant (2023). In these roles, I have developed and run a variety of educational activities, helping young people in their learning and fostering a safe and friendly atmosphere where they can feel at home and at ease.

RUSSIAN:
I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Russian and Japanese and my Masters Degree in Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Manchester, and I also studied Russian at Saint Petersburg State University and at a private language school in Moscow. I speak Russian to C2 Level and I am always eager to help others learn this beautiful language. I am happy to tailor classes to an individual's needs, so whether you wish to focus on conversational, literary, or business Russian, I can help you!

JAPANESE:
I also speak Japanese to a high level, and I am currently finishing my PhD in Japanese Studies at the University of Manchester. I am also eager to work with people who are just setting out learning Japanese - or have some experience, but would like to develop their Japanese skills further - so please do get in touch.
