As Art Teacher my aim is to build every students potentials and develop their talents trough different techniques and activities.
In my lessons includes drawing, painting, cutting, sticking, modelling and designing.
So I teach different techniques of different aspects.
I have experience with primary and secondary pupils by teaching the Art and Craft. As well I am teaching the adults with special needs in the day Centre.
My teaching method is dynamic based of pupils ages and their needs, but usually I concentrate on the learners interest that method called learner-cantered methods.
In this category of methods, both the teacher and the learners have to fit into the content that is taught. Generally, this means the information and skills to be taught are regarded as sacrosanct or very important. A lot of emphasis is laid on the clarity and careful analyses of content. Both the teacher and the learners cannot alter or become critical of anything to do with the content. An example of a method which subordinates the interests of the teacher and learners to the content is the programmed learning approach.
As well it’s very important for me good communication between learners and teacher, which I am using not only verbal, but as well by demonstrating visual contents. To be effective in promoting learning, I always involve some discussions and, question and answer period to allow trainees to be involved actively. So the pupils are free to express them selfs in free style and than I can respond it.
