I am a 27 year old Primary Teacher based in the South West of England (Devon).

I enjoy working with children and strive to motivate, intrigue and inspire children within their learning; helping them to become independent and successful.

I have previously been a Unit/Lead Teacher for EYFS and KS1 pupils (covering 2 to 7 year olds). I have worked with a range of children with varying needs, having previously worked closely with SENDCO's to deliver bespoke learning plans to suit the abilities and needs of each child.

I have BEd in Primary Education (having also specialised in Early Childhood). My Early Childhood Specialism has strengthened my knowledge and passion surrounding how fundamental play and learning, through play and exploration, is for all children; with the importance of strategies to support continuous provision and effective learning.

I build good working relationships with adults and children alike, and therefore the children gain the best learning experiences, as they are surrounded by adults who are working together to a common goal. I aim to be imaginative and creative within my teaching, when planning and considering presentation techniques, as well as in my assessment techniques and self- assessment.

I have an up-to-date DBS, I am First Aid trained (paediatric) and have also attended courses in Makaton and Autism.

I currently work as a Supply Teacher. I continue to gain skills, strategies, knowledge and experience from both those around me and via Continued Professional Development opportunities. I maintain and extend my knowledge via courses that are readily available to me (including through the supply agency I am currently with).

Sessions cost £20 per hour, with an additional fee of £10 for me to travel to your home.
