I have many years of experience tutoring, French to A level and English from KS2 to GCSE, in person and online, and nearly 20 years of experience supporting pupils in schools from Reception all the way to Year 6. This has included working one to one and with small groups providing maths, reading and English support. I believe it is very important to understand the needs of each learner and adapt support accordingly. I am a patient and experienced tutor, adaptable to different learners’ needs. I endeavour to engage learners, providing achievable tasks with sufficient challenge to progressively increase confidence and skills whilst helping them to not be daunted by getting things wrong, instead encouraging pupils to understand that this is how we learn.
