With 30 years of Yoga experience, a little over 10 years ago I trained as a teacher within the Gitananda tradition of South India. I have a strong affiliation with the Om Studio Cardiff and ICYER at Ananda Ashram Pondicherry and the Indian Yoga Association. I'm recognised as a Yogacharini - guiding others in their Yoga practice using Pranayama to manage stress and anxiety.
Sessions are personalised to your needs and suitable for all. With a focus on relaxing, unwinding, stretching and finding the space to breathe. Gitananda yoga is a traditional Indian yoga practice based on Patanjali's 8 limbs of yoga. In a session we largely practice Hatha yoga (Jattis, Asanas and Kriyas) and Pranayama (breathing techniques). We always finish with relaxation.
