I complete a one to one meeting as a mentor for young people. The aim is to help the youngster grow in confidence

Lessons are all about getting to know what objectives the young person has and how we can achieve these together. We look at background, schooling, home life etc and see how these have shaped the person. No value judgements are made. I try to get a young person to look at themselves and see if they are happy and if not what we can change but I emphasise this process is dome together. I ofter ask the question 'How is the man in the mirror'. Overall it is about achieving the aims and objectives of the young person.
