I have over ten years of teaching geography in both primary and secondary schools with outstanding results. Moreover, my experiences and skills have consistently yielded profitable outcomes in the General certificate of Education (GCE), West Africa Examination Council (WAEC), and Primary School Leaving Certificate (PSLC) in Nigeria. Additionally, I have worked in the capacity of an examiner of which hundreds of scripts are marked, analysed and submitted. Geography as a broad subject is divided into four parts which are; physical geography, human geography, regional geography, and practical geography. Each part is further subdivided into sections, sections into themes, themes into topics, and topics into subtopics depending on the class involved. This result in a lesson plan from which lesson note is prepared before the commencement of the class for each day of the week. In terms of the physical and practical aspects of geography, students are prepared for field excursions for sight seeing physical features such as mountains, rivers, waterfalls, warm springs, natural lakes, Islands (Bakassi Peninsula), Sand Dunes in the desert region, etc., to enhance their understanding of nature as well as sustain their interest of Geography. This complements the theoritical nature of teaching geography, therefore douses the phobia of the subject. Likewise, students are connected to You-tube links to view more aspects of geography.
