Secondary English Language and English Literature Tutor

Advert description
Qualified and experienced English teacher, with eleven years mainstream classroom experience. Teaches English Language and English Literature from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE and IGCSE, across most major Exam Boards. Examiner for both GCSE English Language and Literature. Provides support for Scholarship, School Entrance Exams and GCSE resits. Very happy to support home schooling.

I provide online tuition, nationwide, employing a range of strategies to build key skills: language analysis, inference, clarity of expression and creative writing. As appropriate, I provide and mark full practice papers.

In person lessons are also available locally.

I regularly run purpose led competitions open to private tutees: creative and persuasive writing, and textual analysis.
