I provide private tutoring to GCSE/IGCSE students who need additional support to improve their ability and confidence in Chemistry

I am committed in organising lessons which I tailor to the students' specific needs and goals in preparation for their assessments. I love to aid students develop their skills and understanding of the fundamental topics chemistry has to offer, hopefully helping to spark a passion for chemistry of their own. I am a student myself and have my share of bad teachers at school and at uni, I understand the frustration sometimes and am committed to avoid this for my students. I have had teachers with phd’s and awards etc but still failed to be able to explain things well and break down ideas for a less mature mind, I don’t believe in the idea that the more qualifications you have, the better you will be at explaining and helping people understand, it’s a skill and one that I’ve developed during my revision for university exams and during my own private 1:1 in person tutoring I provide for a a student in my neighbourhood. I am very patient and understand it’s not always easy for everyone, it wasn’t for me at the start and I was able to change my mindset to one that appreciates breaking things down to the most fundamental elements.
