I have more than 30 years of experience teaching French in secondary schools in the UK. Whether the emphasis is on deepening knowledge and understanding of grammar and the written word or on communication and oral fluency, I hope to be able to build confidence and competency whilst having fun! I am calm, patient and very experienced. I always adapt lessons according to learning style and prior knowledge and I use a wide range of resources and techniques to engage and enthuse my students. I am happy to offer lessons online if this is easier. I can teach from beginner's level through GCSE and A level up to Oxbridge and I also offer support to students starting their degree in French.
