I have taught French to several age levels and students for 20+ years. Because learning a new language is basically the same for any age level, the teaching style can be very academic and energetic. The introduction of new concepts and grammar can be really fun if taught with a comical and sardonic presentation of the materials. I have utilised an effective video and text that I enjoy very much, produced by a well established production troupe called The Standard Deviants. Using the video and making it my own for presentation I have found to have had a significant amount of success in teaching the language.
