Advert description
Here is a little background of me. I was born in America, and I was sent to China where I had been a student for seven years. Then, I was sent to America to attend high school. Right now, I am a student in the Ohio State University.
In China, I was honored to be one of the hosts or the mcs in a Chinese New Years event. I was taught in a very tradition, cultural atmosphere. My instructors taught me to read poems, ancient Chinese, and Pinying, which allowed me to every books throughout China's history. I was a honor student in China; therefore, I am fluent in Chinese, and I can teach students to advance in Chinese. In addition, there was a holiday where we can pour water. The meaning of this holiday is to give best wishes for others. Therefore, I hosted an event where students can pour water to each other. This holiday is about another Chinese culture, which people hardly celebrate. However, I believe that since this holiday is one of the traditional holidays, I should promote it, and student should incorporate this holiday and more traditional holidays into their lives.
Currently, I am in the United States of America (USA), and I am a college student at the Ohio State University. Before this, I was a student at one of the high schools in Ohio. I graduated with honors as well as an honorary National Honor Society President and Debate Club President. I can interchangeably translate from English to Chinese vice versa. My school has represented me for many events because of my act on volunteerism. Furthermore, I also gave a speech to other school to inspire junior high students to get through exams.
As cultures begin to mix with each other, communication is one of those things that we should know, which understanding the language and culture will impact anyone's life. The opportunity of teaching students is my honor.
