Biology can be frustrating! But I'd like to show it you in a different, more positive light.

I will draw from my own experience of GCSE and A Level Biology and implement revision methods I found to be beneficial (such as active recall). However, I recognise that we all learn differently and so I'd first ask the student what kind of learning has worked for them in other subjects.
I would aim for my lessons to be as interactive as possible with short quizzes and labelling of diagrams after I have clearly and slowly explained the content.
