Advert description
Having achieved my undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Delhi, I am now pursuing my Masters in Occupational and Organisational Psychology from the University of Sussex. Academically, the zest for psychology gained me the highest-level scholar recognition in high school and an average GPA of 9.25 in my undergraduate program.
Throughout the three years of my undergrad, the program has enhanced my knowledge of various domains in psychology, inculcated an ethical research approach, augmented my communication skills, assisted in the development of the intellectual capacity and higher-level skills in the field of counseling, clinical and organizational psychology by exposing us to hands-on experience through fieldwork and experiments.
Different research conducted as a part of my curriculum, have always received appreciation from my professors for its precisions, consistency, and clarity. Especially when it comes to citation and references, which is a professional courtesy that acknowledges the work of others, this is something that I learned during my course and it is also something that has strengthened the credibility of my work making the literature review look comprehensive, and arguments more convincing. Having interest in the notion of leadership, I undertook an independent research to understand Authentic Leadership and its impact on Employee’s Work Engagement, which even got published in the International Journal of Indian Psychology. Overall, my academic writing from the beginning has been known for reflecting the uniformity and novelty of my original ideas.
Presently, exposure to the diverse fields of Organisational Psychology in my masters with modules such as Assessment and Development at work, Leadership Engagement and Motivation, Research Methods, Sussex Experts Research and Practice, Workplace Learning, Training and Coaching, The Future of Work Design, The Social Psychology of Organizations, and Well-being at Work have made me eager to dive deep in this field and learn how the psychological principles can be applied with various approaches.
