Advert description
My name is Mary Noko Ramohlale. I am a South African citizen. I am a teacher by profession. I am presently retired. I am a qualified teacher with Degree in Teaching and have Honors in Education Management. I am an English teacher. I have a lot of experience in teaching English as I started teaching it at the Primary School, Secondary Schools, High Schools and Colleges of Education. I recently Completed my TEFL Diploma Certificate in 2022 October. I am interested in teaching English to learners. At TEFL we were doing teaching English as a foreign Language. There are several people who their language is not English and those are interested in learning the language. That is where we come in. As we know that these are mostly possible through online teaching, as the countries are far apart from each other, we also did one-on-one online teaching in order to cater for such. Teaching other subjects in English also, was one of the key studies that we did. I was also responsible for debate at the school. The debate, in English language opened several opportunities for learners in their tertiary studie as they are able to express themselves and had a vast knowledge of several aspects pertaining to language through the researches they were doing during debate. I also had an opportunity of working in the mining industry for a period of seven years. I worked as a training coordinator and facilitator. We were teaching employees in English from several sectors of the mine. As we know that the mining industry is the sector full of illiterate people, we were starting them from scratch up until most of them get the opportunity of being promoted to higher levels in their hierarchy of employment. The end of year functions helped motivate other people to come and join the school of learning at the mines in order to have knowledge and understanding of the work they are doing.
