Advert description
I first discovered Yoga in 2018 immediately after ending a long and stressful career in Banking IT. From my first introduction to the Yoga-sphere I had a feeling of a welcoming space and, of coming home holistically, especially in my head and in my heart, these feelings have continued to deepen every day and in so many ways
I was into sports in a big way, mainly playing (and watching) football to a high level and had a regular weight training s and fitness regime. However once Yoga came into my life I promptly swapped my football boots and grunting for a Yoga mat and Ujjayi Breath.
My Yoga Teacher Training (and Transformation) Program (2020) was based at Mannar, Sri Lanka, with Dylan Ayaloo as Lead Instructor. I qualified (200 Hour Power Yoga Flow, Yoga Alliance) and returned to a UK entering into its first COVID Lock-down. During this period I continued to deepen my studies and hone the physical asana and verbal cueing sides of teaching Yoga in my style.
June 2020 I started delivering Yoga Online (via Zoom) classes to students ranging from 'Absolute Beginners' and 'Intermediate Level Yogis' to Football teams and individual players. As soon as restrictions were lifted I added 'In-Person' 1:1 and group sessions to the mix.
My style is varied and comprises mainly of Vinyasa Flow, although, I also teach (and enjoy) Yin and offer a number of other options which I adapt according to the needs of the class and the individual.
I have seen firsthand (and am a living example) of how Yoga can change lives. My aim is to help people to be the change they want to see.
