Italian native speaker and qualified tutor for adult learners of all levels and ages with 16-year teaching experience

I have been teaching adults in Cornwall for sixteen years, and online for 3 years.
I teach Italian, my mother tongue. I am passionate about it and would not teach anything else.
My courses are attended by a great variety of people: self-employed, retired, carers, in full or part-time employment, unemployed, students. Their ages differ as well.
My students always comment on the cooperative atmosphere in the classroom, where they feel at ease to take their first steps into learning a new language or improve their knowledge and make real progress in all language skills. I strive to make lessons fun and relevant to their learning goals, also providing information on cultural aspects and snippets of life in Italy.
From a gentle introduction to the language of Italy for Beginners, through all levels of abilities up to Advanced, I include in my lessons a variety of activities which appeal to diverse learning styles and are differentiated to allow for individual needs within the same class. At the end of the lesson students are ready to put into practice what they have learnt with games, role-plays or quizzes. They are also encouraged to take responsibility of their learning, and to work independently between lessons, besides the homework I assign them for reinforcement. I suggest useful websites and other resources regularly.
