First I will build a relationship of trust with my learner, then identify where their likes and personal goals can be matched to the subject being taught. For instance, if they are keen on cars or motorbikes, I will tailor a lesson on combustion to involve engines and car maintenance.

I have a passion for science and technology, backed up by 15 years in industrial applications and 15 years teaching in UK Secondary schools. My last 10 years have been spent designing and delivering science and ICT lessons to young people with behavioural difficulties.
