Maths tutor for students studying for A-Level Maths & Further Maths, GCSE Maths & Additional Maths & students in KS1, KS2 & KS3

Advert description
I am currently studying as an undergraduate for a Mathematics degree at the University of Bath. I have achieved A*s in Maths and Further Maths at A-Level (WJEC) and in Maths, Maths Numeracy and a distinction in additional maths at GCSE level (WJEC), so am able to cover A-Level and GCSE content for students studying for these awards, but, in addition, am happy with tutoring maths to any students who are in KS3, KS2 or KS1. My tutorials would be focused on initially explaining or revising a concept, going through some questions related to that topic, with explanation as to how it should be solved and checking the student understands the concept by looking at another question related to that concept and asking the student to attempt the question or to explain how they would attempt to solve the question. In between tutorial sessions, questions of varying levels of difficulty would be given to the students for them to attempt, and these questions would then be marked when they are handed in, ideally around the time of the next tutorial session, and feedback would be given to the student surrounding those questions, with potentially more questions given for consolidation if the concept remains difficult to grasp. Questions and open discussions are ideal to ensure that topics are fully understood, and tutorials would ensure that students feel comfortable to ask about anything they might be having difficulty with.
