Advert description
During the past few years I have been working as a professor of English with an online university.
My life-learning experience include studying and working in the UK for two years, studying in Russia for six months, and living in China for three years.
I consider living in China a life-changing experience for me, full of challenges and rewards! I spent most of my time there in Shenzhen, where I taught both English and Italian, to young learners first and then to teenagers.
In addition, I have obtained a Master's Degree in 'Modern Languages and Literatures, and Intercultural Translation', along with the following qualifications:
- Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults), issued by Cambridge ESOL
- Certificate in ESOL International CEFR C2 / Proficiency in English, issued by British Institutes
- DELE C1 (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language), issued by the Cervantes Institute
- TORFL-II (CEFR B2 in Russian Language), issued by Saint Petersburg State University
- HSK 5 (CEFR C1 in Mandarin Chinese), issued by the Confucius Institute
My teaching approach consists of getting students immersed into the language, by simulating real-life situations according to their personal learning objectives.
I see the student as the main focus of the learning process, and myself (the teacher) as a mere guide and advisor.
