Flexible Summer GCSE Revision Sessions

I am a 12 years experienced GCSE physics teacher, and have marked the GCSE physics papers with AQA for 5 years. MY experience is with combined science and separate science, at both higher and foundation level.

I will be available over the summer to help close gaps in learning in physics for either students who struggled with the content by the end of the year, or those who are feeling confident and want to ensure they don’t forget the information over the summer holidays.

My general sessions tend to involve reactive teaching, where I will ask questions to my students and use their answers/responses to direct where I focus my attention. If the knowledge is strong in a topic, my teaching involves asking questions of increasing difficulty to assure application of knowledge is there. If knowledge is weak, i will teach more like a lesson, with some follow up questions afterwards.

Usually, I screen share and write my lessons down, so that students can see what we are talking about and I can support learning with diagrams. This also enables me to email the session to my learnings for their future reference.
