My lessons involve going through topic content from the beginning, checking with the student to ensure any unsure foundational knowledge is built up before moving on to the more complicated material. With my experience marking with AQA, I can offer insight and key points that are commonly assessed and how best to recognise the questions and what should be included in answers for the best marks.

I have a very adaptive teaching style, and I work with my students to make sure that by the end of each session, my student will:
- have had multiple opportunities to present the information in their own words, so I can check for terminology and short term retention
- answer at least one exam style question, and be directed to the key terms in the question that best indicate the content of the question
- be trained into reading and working with mark schemes to be more efficient with any independent revision in the future
- have a bespoke summary of the work we did together that can be used in independent revision in the future.
