New and innovative teacher of english language with excellent communication skills

I have a degree in Geoscience from the University of St Andrews and have worked for 24 years in the oil industry with a multi national team. I am now semi retired and want to bring my enthusiasm and experience to assisting young and old alike to become the best they can be when speaking English.

I am a new teacher but have some innovative ideas about how to teach English as a foreign language. I would begin my lessons by listening to the student, learning their interests and why they want to learn English. It is good to know something of a student's plans for the future. I would adapt my lessons to suit the individual, to maximize the enthusiasm for learning and therefore get the best results.
