GCSE Human Biology and Combined Science, KS3 Mathematics and Science

I have been Tutoring since 2001, I have since gained a PGCE in Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in research into mathematical learning. I take a keen interest in how we learn and have a positive can-do attitude to learning. My students find me approachable and motivating, which enables me to build positive relationships which last beyond the learning.
My lessons are tailored to the individuals I teach. I start by getting to know them and adjust the lesson to suit them. However, all my lessons follow the pattern of a starter, which is used to review prior knowledge, I then build on this knowledge during the lesson. I use interactive methods to help understand concepts. I usually give exam practice questions and teach exam skills during my lessons.
