My clear vision of teaching focuses upon the learning and educational needs of the individual student. By encouraging exploration, discussion and the sharing of learning experiences, I have been better able to engage and stimulate students.
As a qualified English teacher in the UK, I have utilised a diverse and transferable range of literacy skills across the A level curriculum in English Language, English Literature, and Media Studies. In addition, I have considerable experience of teaching English up to, and including, GCSE level. I have much recent experience in teaching English to non-native speakers and have considerable expertise at GCSE level, including ten years as an examiner for AQA.
