I utilise a set programme for every session which enables students to feel safe and reassured and gain trust and confidence quickly. The programme includes info about yoga, warm up, centering, yoga postures, breath work and relaxation. It is a programme which in pilots enabled 100% of students to state that their happiness had increased and their anxiety reduced. Yoga is a great way to exercise and is accessible for those who perhaps would not normally engage in PE in the curriculum. My programme is accredited by Yoginis TM and fits well with the wellbeing agenda. It works for those with ADHD, Autism, and those who are questioning or not confident in their identity.
