English & Literacy Tutor, Basic Skills to GCSE Levels

I have taught English and Literacy Skills to a wide variety of young people and adults of all abilities for 23 years in colleges, prisons, outreach centres and in the community for those with autism, complex needs and mental health difficulties.
I have lots of experience of supporting those with SEN and dyslexia. I have also worked with adult beginners in English as well as those wanting only to brush up their existing skills. I have lots of experience of Functional Skills English from Entry Levels to Level 2, as well as experience for those requiring GCSE English revision. I also have bags of patience and a good sense of humour! I try to make people feel at ease with me and their studies. I will spend time initially exploring your existing skills and finding out where your strengths are, as well as the areas you further need help with. Together we can then build the best plan for your future study.
