KS3 and GCSE Maths Tuition

I graduated from university in 2022 with a degree in Mathematics. Since then I have completed my training to become a secondary school teacher, gaining my QTS. Over the last three years, I have also tutored students online and in-person in my spare time. So, I have plenty of hands on experience and knowledge to be your tutor! I absolutely love learning and teaching maths and can help you to love it too.

As your tutor we will begin by looking at topics you particularly struggle with to help you make the most progress possible as quickly as possible. Where necessary we can begin with a short assessment to find which areas you need help with. Once big gaps in understanding have been recovered we will start to go through the basics of each topic to solidify the foundations needed for progression. We will follow this with lots of practice to help you become confident and fluent before moving on to the next topic. We’ll revisit each topic with questions every few weeks to help with retrieval and long term memory to best prepare you for your exams or coming years at school.

I can adapt for any exam board or curriculum if given enough notice. I am usually able to find a slot for new students within one working week from the initial enquiry and find meeting once a week works best.
